WRF-Model up and running - date: 2017-03-18

After some preparation time the WRF weather model starts its service. It calculates several forecasts a day for central europe based on the results of the GFS model. Some of the data is available from a fileindex or an experimental gui.

Modifications:
  • added support for sqlite3 storage
  • added module for data handler to add different kinds of storage backends
  • added new queries
  • added options to chose the desired storage backend
  • reworked / adjusted existing code and documentation

I have set up two new projects on Github. One is a ruby project to evaluate logging file of the ngnix webserver. The other is a java project that should visualize data in a graphical user interface.
